This interactive session will engage participants as they hear and share best practices for Confirmation. The areas that will be addressed include: program content, progression and process, curriculum, the rite of confirmation, early communion, memory work, homework, projects, sermon notes, and more. The goal is for participants to leave with four new ideas to use in confirmation. |

At the beginning of each section of the Small Catechism are the words, "As the head of the family should teach them in a simple way to his household." What would it look like if we took those words seriously? What would it look like if families lived out Deut. 6 and talked about their faith when they woke up and when they went to bed, when they drove to the soccer game, and when they sat around the dinner table? As we walk students through confirmation, it is critical that we help parents fulfill their role in training their kids in the faith. We all know it's important, but how can we practically make that a reality?
