Rev. Tige and Sara Culbertson have survived many joys and burdens of a family in ministry. By the grace of God, their marriage has survived lies, addiction, and the whirlwind of emotions that come with living lives that are deeply impacted by the temptations of the world. In 2008, God intervened and called Tige out of the ministry and pulled their family into a life of recovery.
Tige and Sara now live the adventure of sobriety, transparency, and healing in each day of their lives. This past year, Tige was reinstated as a pastor in the LCMS and called as the Pastor of Life Issues at Messiah Lutheran Church in Bullock Creek, Michigan, and as the founding pastor of Restoration Fellowship in Freeland, Michigan.
