Michindoh Conference Center
A Spring Arbor University Campus
4545 E. Bacon Rd.
Hillsdale, MI 49242

Event Description:

"Leadership in the 21st Century Interim: Theory and Practice"

What does the Intentional Interim Leader do that can make a difference? How can the Interim Pastor foster and encourage lay leadership during the interim time? These and other related questions on the topic of leadership will be taken up by Peter Alexander our presenter at our Spring continuing education conference at Michindoh Conference Center in Hillsdale, MI.

Pete will address the most important aspects of leadership theory unique to pastoral transition periods and will help us to think differently about what it means  to lead without easy answers to complex problems. He will address the need to rethink and re-tool in light of the paradigm shift to ministry as "outsiders" in a post-churched culture as congregational revitalization becomes more important in the typical interim ministry of today.
