Speakers

  Dr. Adam Francisco

Dr. Adam Francisco

Dr. Adam Francisco is a Faculty Fellow of Wittenberg Institute and Professor of History at Concordia University in Irvine. He covers general topics in Christian Apologetics, as well as spending a good deal of time on the New Atheist movement, and apologetics to Islam. Dr. Francisco is an engaging and dynamic instructor and brings an incredible base of knowledge to this presentation.

Topic: From the Medieval World Until Now: Apologetics and the Challenge of Islam

Francisco will bring an awareness of the Islamic religion and how we, as Christians, can pray for those of the Muslim faith and how our churches can defend our beliefs.

  Rev. Dr. Robert Newton

Rev. Dr. Robert Newton

President of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District

Topic: From the Outside–In: The Apologetic Task In a Post-Churched World

Newton will tackle apologetics from the perspective of cultural relevance. What DOES culture tell us about our faith? He will teach us how to defend our faith, especially leaning on the Scriptures.

  Rev. Dr. Paul L. Maier

Rev. Dr. Paul Maier

Dr. Maier lectures and does seminars on a wide range of topics, and appears frequently in national radio, television, and newspaper interviews. He has also written four books for children, and written and hosted three four-hour video series, available from Tobias Communications (1-800-463-4685).

Topic: Voices From the Past: Apologetics and the Ancient World

Maier will share what history has given us from an archeological perspective and how we can defend the faith, even today, in this post-Christian time.
