The Michigan District, LCMS is excited to offer three identical Theological Conferences in 2012 for youth, congregation members, and church workers. The conference will help participants understand how to defend their faith through what history has given from an archeological perspective, the cultural aspect, and the challenge of Islam.

Dr. Adam Francisco Dr. Adam Francisco is a Faculty Fellow of Wittenberg Institute and Professor of History at Concordia University in Irvine. He covers general topics in Christian Apologetics, as well as spending a good deal of time on the New Atheist movement, and apologetics to Islam. Dr. Francisco is an engaging and dynamic instructor and brings an incredible base of knowledge to this presentation. Topic: From the Medieval World Until Now: Apologetics and the Challenge of Islam Francisco will bring an awareness of the Islamic religion and how we, as Christians, can pray for those of the Muslim faith and how our churches can defend our beliefs. |
