Michigan In Touch is a bi-monthly publication of the Michigan District of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. The magazine is a compilation of articles that point to Christ, share God's Word, and celebrate the journey, joys, and challenges of the ministry entrusted to God's people in the Michigan District, LCMS.
The purpose of Michigan In Touch is to engage readers through articles that: point to Christ’s work in and through us; challenge growth in faith through continuous study of God’s Word; increase awareness of present-day issues; motivate readers to action; build community among believers; and encourage and inspire.
Michigan In Touch authors include professional church workers and members of Michigan District, LCMS congregations and other LCMS entitites. It is edited and produced by the Communications Department of the Michigan District, LCMS and financed through its budget and advertising revenue.
The audience of Michigan In Touch includes professional church workers, volunteer ministry leaders, and congregational members. Total circulation is 31,000 plus. Congregations receive bulk shipments according to average worship attendance. The magazine is home-delivered to professional church workers within the District and subscribers located throughout Michigan and the United States.
