The Pastors' of the North & East Region welcome you to its conference that will occur May 4 & 5 at the H Hotel in Midland. Pastors' will meet for two days to explore effective ways congregations can connect with youth under the theme, "Youth Ministry: Our Failure and our Future". During the conference, attendees will hear from a number of experienced youth ministry workers including Mark "Marko" Oestreicher. Michigan District President David P. E. Maier will also address the conference.

Oestreicher is widely known for his contributions to dozens of books for youth ministry, including his much-discussed, "Youth Ministry 3.0: Where We Have Been and Where We Need to Go." Upon registering for the conference, pastors will receive a copy of "Youth Ministry 3.0" for reading prior to the conference.

Youth ministry usually involves many more people in the congregation than pastors. In reality, the volunteer youth workers and professional youth ministers are at times more closely connected to youth ministry than the pastor. So, this year's conference is also open to the dedicated youth workers of our congregations. The committee hopes that this year's conference will be a tool for pastors and youth workers to plan for exciting and life changing youth ministry in their congregations that will grow and yield a hundredfold.
