Professional Youth Workers Conference
May 5-6, 2010

You are invited to join with Directors of Christian Education, Directors of Family Life, Pastors, Deaconesses, and others involved in youth ministry in a conference planned just for you. Moving Forward in Youth Ministry: Where have we been? Where are we going? will be held on May 5-6, 2010. The conference will provide opportunity for professional growth, networking with other youth workers in your region, fellowship with peers in ministry, and guide our future ministry journey together.
The keynote speaker for the conference will be Mark Oestreicher "Marko", 30-year youth ministry veteran, until recently President of Youth Specialties, and author/contributor to more than 50 books on youth and youth ministry. Marko will challenge us to evaluate ministry in light of today's youth culture. Michigan District, LCMS President, Rev. David P. E. Maier, will lead Thursday morning devotions.

The conference site is at Northwood University in Midland which provides a quiet atmosphere nestled in 434 acres of natural beauty. Overflow accommodations will be provided by Sleep Inn, just minutes from Northwood's campus. Northwood is located right off of Main Street at 4000 Whiting Drive in Midland.
