The Lutheran Choralaires are in search of a new Director. The Lutheran Choralaires for over 60 years are a group of men in SE Michigan. Traditionally, rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings (Sept - May), perform Christmas and Epiphany concerts, sing at Lenten and Good Friday services and accept requests to perform at churches for fund raising events, or other special occasions, as our schedules will allow. Performances are primarily in Michigan, but have been known to travel outside the state. Director Expectations/Requirements (but are not limited to): A Lutheran experienced in choral directing, coupled with some keyboard abilities; Capable of dealing with a group (approx. 26 men) who have varying degrees of talent; Interest in and abilities to organize, plan, and prepare for full concerts as well as church services and other performances.
