The mission of the Michigan District Board of Directors and Staff is to bolster congregations and ministries and their leadership, encouraging and equipping them to disciple the saved and evangelize the lost through Word and Sacrament ministry. This is accomplished through partnering relationships which are characterized by:

* Sensitivity to the local congregation ministry setting
* Open, effective communication
* Counseling, resourcing, supporting and providing process consulting assistance; and
* Transferring and sharing knowledge and experiences.
