District Overview
The Michigan District, LCMS is one of 35 districts of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. We exist to serve 333 churches, 2 missions, 5 high schools, 66 elementary schools, and 119 preschools in the State of Michigan.

Beliefs, Practice and Confessions
Being "Lutheran," our congregations accept and teach Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century.

Mission/Vision
Our congregations are filled with people of HOPE! Our living hope, indeed our joyful and confident life and witness to the world, comes from the transforming power of the Gospel and the resurrected Christ.

Target & Outcomes
Being People of Hope, Michigan District congregations and ministries will share the Good News of Jesus with people who do not know him.

Constitution & Bylaws
Congregations that approve changes to their constitution and bylaws should submit the proposed alterations to the Michigan District office for examination by the Michigan District Constitution Committee.

Annual Ministry Report
Annual Ministry Report is available for viewing/printing. Please share this with your leadership boards and members.
