The Michigan District has many ministries that care for people of all walks of life, including those with special needs or who are experiencing difficult circumstances.

These ministries include:

Michigan District Chaplains are specially trained professionals who share the Gospel during crises with those in hospitals, care facilities, or prisons who are away from their home congregations.

Providing Christ-centered education, ASL worship resources, and specialized mission outreach to support and empower the Deaf community.

Parish nursing

Parish Nursing

Promoting the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of congregations through health education, pastoral support, and holistic care.

Chaplains and pastors are available for visitations to a majority of the 22 state and 2 federal prisons in Michigan.
