Paul serves as Director of Leadership Development for the Michigan District. In this position, he oversees the training and deployment of Transitional Interim Pastors; the training of Deacons and Ministry Assistants and the ongoing work of the Commission on Deacon Qualification through the Michigan School of Missional Formation; the work of the Commission for Church Worker Care; and all alternate routes to ordination (SMP, EIIT, CHS). He also oversees specialized ministries, Parish Nurse Ministry, CPE training (Chaplains), and stewardship education. In addition, he serves as the liaison for the District President to all conferences and conventions of the district.
