The Michigan District welcomed four pastoral candidates, one deaconess intern, and two vicars to its roster this week.
On Tuesday, April 28, Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. (CSL) held two separate worship services for assignment of vicarage and internships and for call placements, respectively. Vicars assigned to the Michigan District are Ryan Kroonblawd (Our Savior, Lansing) and Ron Zuccaro (Zion, Hemlock). Candidate receiving his first placement in Michigan from CSL is Edward Krez (St. Lorenz, Frankenmuth).

On Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 29, two separate worship services took place at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Ind. (CTSFW) for assignment of vicarage and internships and for call placements, respectively. Deaconess intern Christine Kerster was assigned to Shepherd of the Lakes, Brighton. The following pastoral candidates received their first placement in the Michigan District: Zachary Benkert (Trinity, Conklin); Noah Dunsmore (Zion, Mt. Pleasant); and David Krueger (St. Paul, Flint).
