Pre-Seminary Interviews
After the seminary has received your application, the District Office will be notified. At that time, please contact the District Office to schedule your pre-seminary interview. Interviews are conducted approximately four times a year--typically in January, March, May, and November. Please be aware of these time frames when you are applying to the seminary. Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP)
The Specific Ministry Pastor Program is a four-year distance education program that prepares men for pastoral ministry in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.

Colloquy
If you are an ordained pastor in a non-LCMS denomination and are interested in becoming ordained in The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, you will need to complete the Pastoral Colloquy Process.
Ethnic Immigrant Institute of Theology (EIIT)
The Ethnic Immigrant Institute of Theology (EIIT) is offered by Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. through a collaborative arrangement with LCMS World Mission. EIIT is a specialized program of theological education and formation for effective pastoral leadership within immigrant-based churches.
Center for Hispanic Studies (CHS)
The Center for Hispanic Studies (CHS) of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. offers theological education and leadership in the Lutheran tradition from and for U.S. Hispanic/Latino communities.
